Back when this site – under the name Griffon’s
Aerie – used to serve as a non-commercial outlet for my broad
creative endeavors, I published a series of monthly “Dispatches”
on a variety of subjects related to roleplaying games. Given my
background working for West End Games in the mid- to late 1990s and
my work on the D6 version of the Star Wars Roleplaying
Game, several of those “Dispatches” discussed the D6
System, Star Wars game products, and other related
subjects.
Roleplaying gamers periodically raise questions
about the D6 version of the Star Wars Roleplaying Game
– “Which edition of the D6 Star Wars RPG is the best?”
and “What are the most essential supplements for my Star Wars
game?” remain the most popular. When I spot these discussions and
have a moment to chime in, I usually offer a short distillation of my
previous articles expressing my opinions on the subject. The Griffon
Publishing Studio website offers some of my D6 resources from
the distant past:
* “Dueling Blades,” an alternate D6
dueling rules (with lightsaber combat in mind).
